HOW CCM MACHINE FOR PLASTIC CAPS WORKS?
The CCM Machine works by heating small plastic pellets until they become soft. These soft pellets are then cut and dropped into a Mold. The Mold closes and presses the plastic into the shape of a bottle cap. After this, the cap is cooled and taken out. This method is faster and uses less electricity than the old method (injection moulding). That’s why many new companies prefer this system.
STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS
Here’s how the CCM Machine for Plastic Caps works, step by step:
Heating the Material:
The CCM Machine heats the plastic (usually HDPE or PP) until it becomes soft.
Cutting & Dropping:
A small, fixed amount of soft plastic is cut and dropped into each Mold using air pressure.
Compression:
The Mold closes and presses the plastic to form the cap, including its threads and inner seal.
Cooling:
Water cools the Mold so the plastic hardens and keeps its shape.
Cap Ejection:
After cooling, the cap is pushed out and is ready for use.
Repeat:
The CCM Machine repeats this cycle non-stop, producing thousands of caps every hour.
This process is clean, fast, and produces very little waste.
