WHAT IS A BOTTLE CAP MANUFACTURING
MACHINE?
The Plastic Cap Manufacturing Machine works by first heating plastic resins into a semi liquid form. Then cutting the pellets by material cutter and dropping them into a Mold cavity. The plastic is then compressed and shaped by the Mold, after which it is cooled and ejected. Unlike injection Molding, the Cap Compression Molding is faster, and consumes less energy—making it a popular choice for modern cap manufacturers.
HOW THE BOTTLE CAP MANUFACTURING MACHINE WORKS?
Here’s how the cap manufacturing machine works step by step:
Plastic Heating:
The Bottle Cap Manufacturing Machine starts by heating plastic granules (HDPE or PP) until they become soft and ready for shaping.
Cutting & Feeding:
A fixed amount of this soft plastic is cut and dropped into open Mold cavities. This helps control the weight and thickness of each cap.
Compression Moulding:
The Mold closes, and pressure is applied to shape the plastic into a cap. This step forms the threads, sealing ring, and outer design.
Cooling the Mold:
Water cooling inside the Mold helps the cap solidify and hold its shape.
Cap Ejection:
Once cooled, the Bottle Cap Manufacturing Machine ejects the cap automatically. It’s now ready for slitting or folding.
Repeat Process:
This entire cycle keeps repeating, allowing the Bottle Cap Manufacturing Machine to produce up to 53,000 caps per hour, depending on the model.
