The Cap Compression Molding Machine uses a process that’s faster, cleaner, and more efficient than traditional injection molding. This method involves forming caps by compressing heated plastic directly in the Mold—saving time, energy, and material.
Here’s a simplified view of how the Compression Molding Process works:
Plastic Heating:
The Cap Compression Molding Machine starts by heating plastic resins (usually HDPE or PP) until they reach a semi-molten state.
Cutting & Feeding:
A fixed amount of molten plastic is cut by a material cutter in the form of pellets and dropped into bottom cavity of each Mold with the help of compressed air. This ensures that every cap being manufactured in the Cap Compression Molding Machine is consistent in weight and size.
Compression & Shaping:
The Mold then closes, and the Cap Compression Molding Machine presses the plastic into the shape of the cap. This includes all fine details like threads, seals, and other parts.
Cooling:
