HOW A CSD CAP MAKING MACHINE
WORKS?
A CSD Cap Making Machine uses a compression molding system to form plastic caps. Unlike injection molding, which injects plastic into a closed Mold, compression molding gently presses plastic into cap shape using heat and pressure.
Here’s what happens during the process:
Heating the Plastic:
Plastic granules like HDPE or PP are melted down to a soft, semi-liquid state inside the machine.
Cutting & Dropping:
A pre-calculated portion of the molten plastic is cut and dropped into each Mold cavity using compressed air. This help ensures that all caps maintain consistent weight and size.
Cap Formation (Compression):
The Mold then closes, and the plastic is compressed into the shape of the bottle cap. This process forms the sealing surface, threading, and any logos required.
Cooling Phase:
A water-cooling system hardens the cap quickly while it’s still in the Mold. This help preserves the shape and structural strength of the Plastic Caps.
Cap Ejection:
Once the caps are cooled, the cap is ejected from the Mold automatically, ready for further processing.
Continuous Production Cycle:
