In this method, melted plastic is pressed into a Mold to form the shape of the cap. HOW THE WATER BOTTLE CAP MOULDING MACHINE WORKS?
Here’s a simple explanation of the process:
Melting the Plastic:
Plastic resins like HDPE or PP are first melted until they become in semi-liquid form.
Cutting & Feeding:
A fixed amount of molten plastic is cut by a material cutter and dropped into each Mold cavity with the help of air.
Compression Moulding:
The Mold closes and presses the soft plastic into the shape of a bottle cap. It forms the outer design, seal, and threads of the cap.
Cooling the Mold:
A Water cooling system cools the Mold, which helps the plastic become solid and strong while holding its shape.
Cap Ejection:
Once cooled, the cap is pushed out of the Mold and ready for post-moulding processes like slitting or folding.
Repeat Cycle:
This process keeps running continuously in a rotary motion, allowing the Plastic Bottle Cap Moulding Machine to produce up to 53,000 caps per hour depending on the model.
